Verde's Italian Eatery was founded in 1980 by Grandpa Joe, the restaurant was located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Verde's has a reputation for quality pizza and pasta dishes, together with many other Italian Specialties. In 2022 Grandpa Joe's granddaughter opened Verdes Pizza & Pasta House in Travis. Verde's pizza and pasta quickly became the highest Google Reviews pizza & pasta house in Staten Island with 170 Google Reviews, 4.7 stars.
